Was your car tuned for the octane booster? If not that will most likely be giving you issues.

Edit: Just saw Kroozin's pic. I ran a tank of octane booster for a day at Calder in my old car and managed to blow the end off one of my spark plugs :/

Octane booster stains iridium plugs. The plug can't burn it off again. It causes misfires and blow outs. Steer clear. I've had same happen to me.

Anyone know if injector cleaner does the same to iridium plugs?

I remember talking about this on here before... but can ya imagine how your valves, exhaust manifold, rear turbo housing and impellor would look?

After I saw that plug it was about a week later and I made the switch to eflex.

Just to follow up. Now my 044 pump sounds like an air compressor when I turn the key on and for about 3 seconds after I start the car??!

This is normal mate I have one myself :)
