FG short to a B series may cost you a bit more because there are some modifications involved to the new block (dipstick) and engine mount.

Plus your old sump needs to still be good otherwise you will need another B series sump. Plus I think there may be a gasket between the sum and block..

I would put 5k away as pazzo said.

What about timing chain, guides , tensioners etc, why would you be refitting 100k old parts on to a new motor, factor in a head reco as mentioned earlier and possibly 15-20 hours to do the job plus the incidentals that occur as you go ie an engine mount, some hoses etc, it starts adding up and at the end of the day it is still a stock motor (although stronger than the BA)
