You'll have no probs mate. Get the stock cat punched out as there aren't any probs up here with that plus it will flow the best of anything for the cheapest...

Paul is very cluey and has been road tuning nissan's etc with the apexi to near perfection without a dyno for years now so I think he will be fine with the edit and if he does get snagged Dave is only a call away!

I think you will be happy with what it will produce with the little turbo... :spoton:

There are garbage skips full of standard cat/exhausts at most mechanic and exhaust shops. They are more than happy to get rid of them!

I doubt many of those would be for XR6T's, but you never know. You might find that needle in the hay stack eventually.

I think what Adam is saying is if you need a roady for example, you may need a stock cat on your car, ford cats are very expensive (as are many other manufacturers), the chances of finding the correct one for your car is very minimal in an exhaust shop waste bin.

The shops normally sell the cats to scrap metal merchants on a regular basis as the precious metals contained internally can be worth a few bucks, so cats normally do not sit around for very long

I understand what your saying but we live in Townsville, EVERYTHING sits around forever...lol

Seriously though, there are many shops with the ford exhausts up here and my mechanic is one of them!
