Get it tuned for midrange torque and sh*tty tyres. Fry through gears at 3~4k and no worries!

Going from memory here, but - soft cut in B series is 6000RPM, hard limiter 6200RPM.

I run Castrol Edge 0w40 oil and it takes FIFTEEN MINUTES to get to an acceptable temperature for me to give it a bootful, say 75°, then sits around 85-90° a little while after. Coolant temp is on 1/4 after FIVE mins then sits there thanks to cooler thermostat. Quite a difference in time.

If it's a really cold day make it 20 minutes to warm up and hovers closer to 80°.

This is measured via sandwich plate under oil filter and have checked against OBDII logging numbers for oil temp, gauge reads 2-4° out at 90°, again from memory.

Oil temp drops off to below gauge range of 50° after a couple of hours of car being off but comes back up quick (<5 mins). Would be colder than engine due to location of sensor.
