However its ONLY doing it when reversing, never moving forwards... that's why I asked the question.... I've changed brakes on an Evo 8 and an Alfa Romeo with them and they did before and after new brakes and different brand pads didn't help. Reversing down hill is shocking. Guest XR09 Guests Posted 30/09/12 08:37 PM Share Posted 30/09/12 08:37 PM Does the B series do it??? just wondering if the different set up has any difference.Good idea to check the handbrake tension in the hub....just tell the service manager the rear rotors seems very hot hahaha it's an easy job. Most squeel is glazed pads from light braking or and heat....also an easy fixsofter pads dont squeel to begin, but are very dusty and end up squeelingHard pads squeel and then arn't to bad after a few good heat cycles...and no where near as dusty Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82165-brand-new-gt-squeaky-brakes-but-only-reversing/page/2/#findComment-1302720 Share on other sites
