Ino going lower I should use shortened shocks, better ride, handles better etc

But yeah I will probly do them eventualy anyway but for the moment im happy!

Dont drive the car a whole lot anyway, my work isnt far enough away to even get the car warm so I most of the time dont take it!

Plus it has 90,000 kms already and im scared to reach 100k

Plus once there they become very hard to sell :'(

I thought that with age the shocks lose their comfort and get sloppy in that they don't take the rebound of the spring aswell anymore and ultimately don't keep the wheel stuck to the road (as well) over bumps etc and I was under the impression that when you lower a car a lot (4SL) your stock shocks will deteriorate at a quicker rate because they are always under load.

Im not the expert Senna so please feel free to explain if/why I'm wrong.

Yea mate I'm up to 83,000 now and I want it to stop lol. I think I'll keep the car for a while and I got it really cheap so shouldn't lose too much on resale (hopefully lol)

EDIT - you pretty much answered my question already above

I was only answering the safety aspect but I guess the handling also affects the safety side of things.

Shock valving rates should match the spring rates, lowered springs almost always have higher spring rates

Yeah makes alot of sence what you have both said!

I wish I could stop the kms haha!

Love driving it just dont like seeing it tick over haha!

I will get the shocks done sooner rather then later perhaps

Those bumpstops have had heaps cut off..

I think youll be happy with the SSSL

And there shouldnt be that much ride quality difference between 19's and 20's. Both sizes run the exact same profile tyre. The difference will come down to the actual weight of the wheel. that's my personal experience anyway.
