Bellato Donating Members 2,713 Member For: 14y 4m 13d Posted 02/10/12 09:28 AM Share Posted 02/10/12 09:28 AM (edited) I thought that with age the shocks lose their comfort and get sloppy in that they don't take the rebound of the spring aswell anymore and ultimately don't keep the wheel stuck to the road (as well) over bumps etc and I was under the impression that when you lower a car a lot (4SL) your stock shocks will deteriorate at a quicker rate because they are always under load.Im not the expert Senna so please feel free to explain if/why I'm wrong. Yea mate I'm up to 83,000 now and I want it to stop lol. I think I'll keep the car for a while and I got it really cheap so shouldn't lose too much on resale (hopefully lol)EDIT - you pretty much answered my question already above Edited 02/10/12 09:30 AM by Bellato

Both sizes run the exact same profile tyre. The difference will come down to the actual weight of the wheel. that's my personal experience anyway.
