If it was me I would put a K&N filter on it and replace the plastis cooler pipes for the metal ones. Then I would leave it until theres the cash for a custom tune and xcal. At least that way you will have the plastic pipe issue out of the way and it will breath a little better for now

I wouldn't start modding till you have $10k spare... $5k to mod and $5k for when sh*t breaks...

$500... It really won't get you anywhere... Except into a huge amount of debt...

If you pay for a tune, then mod, then pay for a tune again... You are wasting money...

^^^^^^Hate agreeing with this bloke because he is a twit, but his right. You need a few grand for when things break......and they will. It's great you have a XRT but you need $$$$$$ to maintain aswell, otherwise car will sit in corner until you have the cash to fix.

VCM tune is a good place to start if your not modding other things for a while but in saying that your cooler pipes could probably burst off so theres another $500 lol. Save a few grand and then start modding, that's what I'm going to do.
