All I see on this forum is people trying desperately to make out that their androids are better than the iPhone. Personally I have tried the HTC Desire when it was amongst the first android phones and I hated it and gave it too my wife. Then I tried the HTC Velocity 4G and hated that forcing Telstra to take it back. My wife has a Galaxy S2 and it is ok but a 2.5 hour charge? Are you serious? I think Samsung are the best of the Androids but I don't think they are better than the iPhone same as I don't think the iphone is better than the android. Much like the PC to Mac debate that keeps being rehashed as well (I have 1 of each and they both have their good points). The only thing I dislike about the iphone is that you get a new one and the screen will look the same as your old one. But Android are like that now as well.

Charge time isn't bad so I'll assume it's up time you mean. I'm not even going to look up the specs for the s2 but that's rubbish. Either there were sh*tloads of b/g apps or the phone had something wrong with it..Never heard of a phone with 2.5hrs talk time. Not even Nokia's lol

I was really keen on the S3 until I held one.. Size seemed too much for me.. Also seen a few blokes have to get whole new units because of stupid f*ck ups..So turning back the clock I used to be a die hard Nokia supporter.. Thought the N95 was the best phone ever until I got an N97 at which point I swore I'd never get another Nokia. Then I landed the IPhone 4 which I haven't had a single drama with.. So horses for courses... I'm not interested in a phone that can play brilliant movies as I travel with an android tablet and two laptops anyway. And upgrading iPhones will be a seamless transition for me.. However changing to an S3 would be a pain in the arse..Not saying either one is bad... It's about what works for each of us..

From what I've researched on the net that's pretty normal. No idea on usage as my wife is not a big smartphone user. The HTC Velocity I had was sh*t for battery charge. Looking on the net resulted in either getting a bigger battery that looks pox or download an app that shuts down wifi, Bluetooth etc. f*ck that as well. My iPhone has nothing ever shut down and lasts the day comfortably. Android users also seem to (for lack of the right word) jailbreak their phones a lot whereas I haven't felt the need to do that since the last time I owned an android.
