I reckon paulie. Another reason I wouldn't want to be a boss. I'd be too nice and lenient because I've had my fair share of sh*t bosses.

Strict 38hr wks and anything more is OT. If I go on a holiday I wouldn't force my apprentices to use their own holiday pay to be paid that wk. Decent Christmas bonus or present relevant to the field of work. And an rdo once a month.

I already see myself losing money hahaha

Oh and obviously not be a kunt of a boss..

You can be a good boss and not lose money shy..

Just gotta have a good business and good staff... Problem is when you start being lenient and nice most f*ckers take advantage of it.

And that's it. Just through the people I've seen at the jobs I've worked...these days it becomes a hard thing to find a good honest worker.

I'd probably be a hard boss for the first 6 or so months to see their attitude and all that, then ease off lol

To be a good boss ya gotta have respect. Be there before every staff member, and leave after.

Never diss a staff member infront of the others.

Never be above your staff....If they feel they are doing it with you they work very hard...if they are doing it for you...then they will want the easiest way out.

Being the boss sucks big time.

Long live the bum

hey jet! sounds like you need a change mate. but dont fall into the trap of turning your passion (cars) into your job, give it a year or so and you will regret it. maybe take a holiday as mentioned.

I had been working 10 years in my trade and was so sick of it and needed a change, so I joined the Army! Huge pay cut, but it is the best descision I have ever made! could have backfired badly, but you have to take risks.
