Ive had 6 jobs but only 2 serious ones. Carpentry and now explosives.

Take some good time off. Go on a holiday to recharge. Maybe look into a different field of electrical work?

Have you concidered doing other kinds of sparky work? Process plants/mining/power station/railway, I know it's all kinda the same but you will always be learning if your changing industry's and money will always be pretty good...

^^ As above offshore oil & gas.

Can live anywhere in Australia, rosters are equal time 3 weeks on 3 off. (I call it semi retired working half a year).

Rigs move to different locations, under take training all around the world and pay is well over six figures.

Rigs would be nice but you gotta know someone or be lucky. I've been trying to no avail yet. Mechanical fitter. Used to work on boats have bosiet and still trying.

Try living on the standard manufaturing wage of 40k for 6months, work 52 hours a week no time for "2" rdos, a boss as a *beep* riding you ass for productivity then you will apreicate what you earn and have now and how lucky you are you silly boy!
