Good call jet.. If you're getting sick of what you're doing, going into business for yourself could be a very bad idea..

Too easy to just not feel like doing anything for a week.

Take a break off what your doing.. Have a change in there somewhere.. Letters to hear how it goes for ya.

Not necessarily SDP, working for someone is easy to not turn up for a week, knowing if you don't go to work today you don't get paid, does make a bit of difference to whether you get up or sleep in.

Just make sure it's profitable!

I've seen so many businesses start up in my town and I always wonder what they were smoking because their products/services aren't a high demand item. Then low and behold a few months later they've closed up shop.

Perhaps your own business within your current trade might be an idea?

Spose two sides of the coin..

Should of out a disclaimer in front of that statement "if you're like my wife and go into business for yourself"..

I guess in my wife's case her income is just extra savings so her approach to business is Farking slack.

its a bit like that when most sparks leave a decent company , go out for them selves and it only usually takes less than a year and there back

it goes like this ( sad I know ) yep braught all the tools I needed, van and ready to go

picked up a few contracts

snowballed with free quotes, call backs, late payments

stay up most of the night doing paper work for tax,bas statements

in my free time iam getting gear from the wholesaler for next jobs, that cancell after I braught the gear

got sick and tyred of answering calls for " issues that wernt my fault"

had the technical regulator busting my balls all the time for paperwork

so I came back to do my 8 hrs and go home.......................................

that's why I never even attempted it so many have b4 and alot dont go well , lots do but they fair bust a hump and is it worth it?

that's why iam looking for the " always wanted to do job"

just dont want to turn my passion into a hatred because I chose to do it for work!!
