Hey guys I put ssssl springs in the rear of my FG the other day and put in offset bushes to correct the camber but had to just guess how much to correct as you have to do it with the wheels off so I put them to max.

I have a wheel alignment on friday and when I spoke to the guys today they said most fg's have a camber adjusting bolt on the upper control arm at the outer joint but apparently mine doesn't?

Is there any form of camber adjustment for the rear of these cars? It looks like there is some sort of adjustment in the lower control arms (?? not sure if that's what they're called, the arms that the spring sits on) at the two bushes in the middle under the diff?

Need help before friday!!

Cheers

adjustment on the lower arm is the toe angle, camber is adjusted with the top arm outer bolt. It has a cam plate set up. IIRC not all FG's had this.

Can you take a pic of the top bolt through your wheels?

Both rear uprights as the top bolt hole is slotted to allow for the camber adjustment

Yes it was only the V8 equipped FGs that came with this adjustment from the factory...don't ask me why having a V8 makes it more important to adjust camber....

I have Kmac eccentric bushes fitted to the rear inner upper arms. Allows about 1 deg camber adjustment.

BA XRs had an adjustment on the outer end of the upper arm.

Didn't know V8 FGs had this too, I thought no BF or FG had rear camber adjustment.
