So for anyone who has seen my recent posts I have been tossing up between the GT and F6. Drove them both this morning. F6 was awesome, But GT was more awesome. I got a sore jaw from the smile!

ANYWAY - Colour ... stripes. What do you all like?...

My last 4 cars have been White, Silver Silver Silver. I feel the urge for BLACK with silver stripes, and some Black 20s to go with. Black is a dog to keep clean. But man it looks amazing when it is. Plus, maybe being a panel shop owner should help. I can just get the boys to keep it washed up, glazed and polished! :-)

Love the Vanish with Silver stripes, and white with black stripes -black wheels. But the white and black wheels is starting to get overkilled abit dont you think?

So, whats your thoughts? If you have a GT what colour combo have you got.?.. feel free to post some pics! :-)

I saw the new r-spec GT at my local Ford the other day in blue with Black stripes, looked amazing! Not sure if just the GT has the same colour options but worth looking into. Sorry didn't snap any pics because the sales person was standing next to me and being 20 they knew I wasn't there to buy the car lol

I hate swirl marks!... no matter how many times u glaze and polish.. as soon as u touch it with even the cleanest sponge, it leaves the cobweb effect in the sun. GRR... but HOW GOOOOOD does it look when they hidden from the direct sunlight... cant get any better.

Vanish would be a bit easier, not much but wouldnt be brutal in the sun because of the amound of blue pearl that stands up... eventhought silhoutte as blue pearl in it doesnt hide the swirls...

One would think that with all the technology in modern vehicles that some one would invent a clear coat that was even twice as resistent to swirl marks than what is currently used ???

Hello

Like yourself , I 've had White , Mercury and numerous other Silvers(Silvers always appear clean) .. Never been a fan of White - however the Winter White with Black stripes and Black wheels is the new 'Black' . I recently purchased a Honda Civic Type R for my daughter in Black - she loves it - but no sooner do you wash it and it looks dirty and agree the swirl marks would drive me to 'drink'

If you scroll through the forum , you will find many examples of colours - . As a start - have a look at PlayRz thread headed in FPV Performance - 'Few Pics of the F6 & GT-P' .. It will give you a good guide to what a White with Black wheels and Black with Black wheels looks like - I sure you will agree - the white is the new black !!!

I taken a few pictures of the GT's I demo - Vanish with Gold Stripes , White with Black Stripes and Red with Black Stripes - Each time I scroll through the pictures - I agree the White with black is my choice .. Note **The Vanish does look like much in a photo - but agree with the earlier thread - in life it is very nice !!!

I also agree with your thoughts - SatNav must be optioned in the car - which is disappointing in alot of ways - as many of the demo's do not have SatNav fitted and the GT-P are $10k more

I can't get a Winter White - then I am going to fall back to the the Vixen with Black Stripes - Red has been said to go faster

Nice to hear - I not the only one going through the pain of choice

Cheers

haha Spinning I agree with it driving you to drink! its just painful. I used to wash my black 2002 VU Storm ute. Stand back and look at it and get almost get tears in my eyes it just looked like a spider had weaved its web all over it!! Grrr..

I might jack the thread abit but I can cos its mine :-)

So my options are down to 2, Vanish with silver stripes, leather, no nav. $68,700 or White with black stripes, leather INC nav. $69,555.

Just FYI which ever car is being fitted with 20inch Versus NEO CARBON wheels. :-)

I like Vanish that little bit more. in the flesh its great. BUT it doesnt have Nav. Nav doesnt really mean jack to me, id hardly use it. BUT, its the value of the NAV. and it would be nice when I do want it. Resale may be better also. Its only a fraction less than the white with nav. that's where im stuck. Once I make up my mind I make the call.

Who can help me??... Nav or No nav wher $$ are very similar????
