What Are The Hoses In My Engine Bay

Just doing a service on my car and I noticed these hoses are sort of loose and flopping around, is it normal? Or should the be cable tied to something? Also I noticed another hose had hard white stuff around it and looked like it had been leaking as its dripped on what ever is below it, hear are some pics.

The two hoses loose, there's a red one and a black one, what are they for?

Leaking onto another hose and the alternator I think.

I've owned the car since 45k km and its now done 55k km, could the previous owner dodged something up here? That bit of hose with the hose clamps around it don't look factory standard.

The turbo water line hose in the last pic is from factory, I think that leak is a factory option as its pretty common!

The red line, extremely hard to tell on my phone. Do you have a oil pressure gauge? as it looks like its heading in that direction!

Pretty sure red cable is starter cable!

And that black hose I'm sure someone will clarify but it looks like some sort of vacuum or sensor it has a plastic piece that joins it, I discovered this in my ba it just bloody flaps there.

I had the same coolant leak which I fixed with a flat blade screw driver, found it was just leakin from that rubber hose ya got in the pic.. the leak comes back time to time and I find yet again the hose clamp has loosened a tad, I really just need to replace the sh*t that's there and be done with it but ircbf

Cable tie the stuff if it pleases you, just dont go crazy as theres plenty of others like yours getting around... as sed its "normal".

I'd only be concerned if I could see rub marks on any of the stuff but I think you'll find its ok.

Worth another look though for peace of mind I guess.

Awsome thanks for the clarification, as for the red cable, it's more then likely the starter cable as suggested as I don't have any gauges in my car at all, no boost gauges or oil pressure gauges, the car is stock with no optional extras.

I also tightened the hose clamps as they were a tad loose, just something to keep an eye on I suppose, just glad it was nothing major. And there aren't any rub marks on any of the 'loose hoses' so ill just let them be lol.
