He may have unlocked it before selling, which I assume he did

Plus can pay to have it unlocked if he didnt

I assume he DIDNT!

how would it run stock with a aftermarket cat & dump as well as bigger injectors :/

And to keep the xcal and send away to unlock doesn't really save you much coin!!!

Ah of course, to unlock it = returning car to stock and with injectors and cat = car no go if stock tune.

He can't use his xcal on another vehicle without returning your car back to stock tune first which it doesn'l look like he did because your car is still running.

I don't think there's a restriction on how many Xcals can be used on the same car though? Not too sure on that one though.

But yeah, if he had returned your car to stock with injectors and cat installed, the car wouldn't go or would just be spitting errors and engine lights at you.

What I meant to say is, if you ever want to return to stock, Ford will flash a stock tune in. So if he goes for a custom tune, the tune that's in there will be stored in the Xcal as he's stock tune?
