xrBlitz Member 19 Member For: 16y 4d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 22/09/12 11:20 AM Share Posted 22/09/12 11:20 AM Hey, I have a bf2 turbro and am looking to do a service, I looked on the Castrol website and they recommend Castrol Edge 0w40, and Castrol Magnatec 10w40, I also noticed I need 6.6Lt of oil, just wondering if it would be ok to mix 5Lts Castrol Edge 0w40 fully synthetic with 1.6Lts of Castrol Magnatec semi synthetic? I like the idea of the Magnatecs added protection on start up, but I'm unsure on mixing full syn with semi syn also the different thinkness.
