Nope. Did your Turbo Smart unit vent to atmosphere? I assume so considering you got defected. Have you thought about plumbing it back in or removing it all together. It's not really required.

They are illegal due to the possibility that you may release emissions into the atmosphere without them first going through your exhaust system. In saying that the only emissions will be if your turbo has got issues and is burning oil in the compressor side otherwise your only ever releasing hot air.

They were originally designed to prevent cars with a MAF sensor from reading the air twice on throttle closure which results in over fueling the car causing excess emissions.

ic...I still think its a lil silly..anyways talked with a few people with them on there cars..never had any issues from the police...see how we go...
