Considering getting the spark cut back and keeping my zf tune for w/e's. Whats it sound like with an exhaust? Sound sh*t? Asking cos I know it was pretty loud standard so yeah.

I never actually disliked the fart. Heard a VW golf go past me today 'farting' on change and even that sounded alright.

Noise aside, I think a small amount of spark cut to take a bit of load off the trans is not a bad option actually. Given input shafts have been 'snapping a plenty' since ZF tunes came to be, I can see why people are looking at this option.

I heard that Nizpro are adding some spark cut into their ZF tunes now. My shifts don't slam in so I'd be keen on hearing how much firmness you would lose if running say 1/2 the original fart duration.

I've always maintained that's the farts need to be there !! its a time thing, it enables the oil to disengage & engage componets in a calculated window..... closing that window over a period of time (this is only @ WOT aplications) will cause damage of some sort...... halving the farts is the safest bet & unless someone has concrete proof that getting rid of them make you go faster then I'll belive it.

cheers
