Sounds like your talking about the coldside pipe from the cooler to the intake manifold. Some of them retain the stock crossover so run the pipe from the aftermarket cooler back infront of the engine to the crossover whereas others come through the stock airbox area and straight to the manifold.

just spoke to Chris from rapid, he said as long as you put the silicon joiner to the far right corner it clears the headlight with no issues. also there is no issues with clearance from the throttle body if installed correctly . im looking at a v3 kit for $1649 includes k & n filter.

V3.0 $1649

Intercooler, cold side piping , Under battery Intake

& Hotside Piping

Dont go the around the world cold side dude.. look up orangeute888 on the falcon forum and ask him if he can make you a tb relocation pipe inc. that pipe that goes on from the relocated tb toward the headlight. then just get the next joiner + pipe and next joiner from rapid... all the cold side will be 3".

You would need to just extend your tb cables and still get your hot side piping, rapids hot side seems to be reasonably priced too..

Personally I went this way about it and saved a fair bit of cash and ended up with wat I believe to be the next best thing from a plenum.

You would still need to get a cooler though dont go pov here.

I made my own intake which consisted of 2x 45degree bends, 90 degree bend and about 400mm of 3" alloy pipe. I had to remove the back leg of the battery platform though and drill a 90mm hole in front of the battery section there and fit a pod in the front bar. The whistle is freakin awesome.

TBH this way does work and is cheap and very effective but sooner rather than later I'll be pulling the pod out of the front bar area... only due to the fact that you get paranoid driving thru puddles other than that in all seriousness its been gr8.
