1000cc not sure what brand yet but it's through tunehouse is this price cheap, average or excessive? Its been so long since I played with tuners and turbo I've had rock climbing 4x4 for the past decade

The price is probably a bit higher than average - but there are quite a few people that say you get what you pay for

XFT do ID1000s with flash box and tune and a few other things (gap plugs and change thermostat and tighten clamps etc) for 2400 I think from memory. 2800 seems a bit steep, buuut they may be doing something else.

KPM recomendations for usable margins.

KPM550cc injectors up to 350fwkw form petrol and E85

KPM1000cc injectors up to 480fwkw for petrol and E85

KPM2000cc injectors up to 1000fwkw for petrol and E85

Idle quality on both injectors are perfect.

The applications are calculated on the following;

550cc Approx 480fwkw for the 4.0T engine

70-75% Duty Cycle for 98/95 Octane fuel

90% Duty Cycle for E85 Fuel

1000cc Approx 480fwkw for the 4.0T engine

70-75% Duty Cycle for 98/95 Octane fuel

90% Duty Cycle for E85 Fuel

2000cc Approx 1000fwkw for the 4.0T engine

75-80% Duty Cycle for 98.95 Octane Fuel

95% Duty Cycle for E85 Fuel

KPM can supply all scaling/characterisation data for every KPM Injector supplied. This removes any guess work and allows correct parameters to be input, to allow best tuning results.

Are your 550's an EV14 with the same ball and seat design as your 1000cc or are they the 6 hole director plate design?

In regards to the scaling data, is this been tailored to the Aussie ford calibration or is it the Ford Racing spec? Throw up some data :-)

That does seem a bit steep, but 1000's or 2000's?
