With the std turbo and e85 there's still plenty of power to be mad, fastest zf powered xr is using one with just a comp cover change I think so it shows it's potential and how well that combo can work

Yeah I read on another forum of a xr with a tricked ZF had the original turbo with just the front casing change and ran a high 9 sec pass.

The main problem I have is I work in Canberra and the car is sitting at my folks place who are renting their house out while they go overseas for 2 months so the car has to be moved. I would love to go the big turbo setup but not sure if the guy putting it back together and tuning would allow the car to sit at their workshop for a extended amount of time while I get the money to do the big upgrade.

Has anyone here had experience with their tuners allowing them to leave their car with them ?

I would need 2 months to save up the money for the big upgrade.

You only need a GTX3582r to smash out mid to low 10's. ($1550)

440 rwkws will net you a mid to low 10.
