I'm just looking for something that drives nice yet can run a 10 sec if setup right

Qik1 what fuel system do you use ie pumps

The car ran a 12.5 with the stuffed piston so a 10.5 with the proper setup should be achievable

With that setup anything is possible with abit of traction & a good steer.

We're running a relitivly small setup because we dont want the risk of multiple pumps & possible failures or going to a massive single & it being unbareable to drive around with. Its an ase 3ltr surge tank with twin internally submerged deutsch werks pumps. Its nice & quiet still good for mid 800's on e85 & well over a 1000 on leaded race fuels.

Its abit of a pain to work on if necassary because of where its mounted. The simple chassis rail mounted tank with dual 044's will probably do the same trick as long as its a genuine 1.5 plus ltr tank. You wont want much more than 800 for any road or track work, the zf boxes even built seem to be getting close to there limit at that point

From the looks off the OP you will be looking at about $25-30k if everything goes well why be tight on saving a few g on the box? Either way ad you have seen all these builds on this forum, all the Issues In between and as jet says dounlr your tIme and money. best of luck to you.

Peter at RPM dyno at morayfield he was recommended by the engine builder and looking at his website shows he knows business with cars prepped by him coming fourth at Bathurst 24 enduro.

I'll speak to him next week with regards to the box and tailshaft

lol so true about double the budget and triple the time, I was only meant to spend 25k including panel and paint, could own a FG F6 and have it worked for what I've spent on my ED now and its not even running yet lol :*(.

Biggest tip I can give, do it once, do it right, no point skimping out on a couple things cos they'll more than likely break, have a good chance to take other things with them and then costs you more in the long run.

nice.. dont forget lee & Real Dyno Performance up there to. very experience on turbo's mate.

I spoke with lee but the main problem is I will be away with work for about 6 weeks and so need a shop that will look after the car while I'm gone. Lee said they don't have the room at the moment.
