In theory makes sense, you want the smallest diameter without being a restriction as it has the least volume to fill before going in your engine. But what size that is I have no idea

No amount of proof will make you believe 100%,do the tests as I have done and come to your own conclusion......or,either trust me or don't trust me its simple.

TBH,I cant believe interstaters want proof from an Adelaide dyno sheet....WTF lol.If it was better than the std hot side it would still be on,make of that what you will.

Sure is,the std hot side is not a restriction,17psi through a 2" pipe will travel faster than 17psi through a 2.5" pipe.

And how about air volume?

Using the app or website?

no ones calling you a liar, most tuners don't want full boost straightaway and have it come on gently, maybe why no one else notices this.

Exactly, you want the boost in asap for 1/4 racing, its up to the owner then to have correct tires/suspension/skills to harness it(non adequate susp/tires/no drag use then moderate ramp in).

Using website henz.
