Hey guys I'm after some urgent help.

My BA Xr6t has started playing games. when crazing on the express way sitting on 110 in 5th than put my foot down the speed increases slowly but than the revs climb fast when the boost kicks in but the speed hardly changes. It has a few mods like a 10psi capa flash tune, bigger intercooler, xr8 air box with KnN air filters, 4" dump pipe in to a 3" pipe than splits in to twin at the back, just clicked to 110.000km and serviced every 5000 km. With service history. I think it's the clutch Cas u can hit limiter than dump the clutch and it won't even soon so I'm thinking it could both be the same problem. It is not cool I can't even give my car a squirt. Any help will be awesome thanks

clutch is shagged

Start saving for a new motor

Why would I need to save for a new engine! Everyone has hit limiter a few times. Auto correction stuffed a lot do words up. car normally runs like a dream but have just started having clutch slip and now I think it is that bad it spins the clutch at 110km/B.C. Is that easier to understand.

Generic tune was what I think he was getting at.. Especially since you've got a full exhaust system and only a generic tune..

A generic tune with those mods would have an AMAZING boost spike I would think, do you have a boost gauge cause I bet it's jumping up higher then 10psi...

The standard clutch with the original weak 5 speed manuals were piss weak to say the least. Half a burnout and the clutch was done for the day!

You are putting massive load on the clutch when in 5th gear and flooring it so your better off backing down a gear in that case.

Save some money for a new clutch and you should be right and get that generic tune checked for your own sake.

I got an XTREME heavy duty clutch from Ebay. This it was $500 (cheapest heavy duty I could find) including thrust bearing. I'm running 370rwkw. I really like the clutch, but give it a few days to bed in because the clutch will be on the firewall for a few drives and reverse will be a bitch for a couple days also.
