All was going well and the 5th run on the dyno all of a sudden will only pull 7pounds of boost, checking all the hoses none loose, can only hope its a collapsed cat and not the turbo itself. Both are new but th cat is easier to fix. $$$$$$$$$

Possibly a loose hose somewhere, as the boost is going between 7 and 12 lbs when it should be sitting on 14 lbs. expectin 350 kw at the wheels on a nice safe tune........SWMBO said is that all, I dont think she realises how big a jump it is going to be.

Picking up the car at 1pm, boost solenoid had shat itself all fixed now car is running 307 kw at the wheels on 13 psi and 12.0:1 fuel ratio. Not bad for a historically low reading dyno, said he could have easily pushed it up over 350-400 but recomended getting some forged internals first. Time to start putting money back in the piggy bank.

No need for forged internals with under 400. May need oil pump gears but there is a debate about that at the moment. Seems very low for 14psi as well. Let us know how it drives now.

His dyno is well known for reading low, feels pretty strong I just need to quieten the intake ow.

Not having a go so please don't take it that way. That just seems exceptionally low even for a hard dyno. You should definitely pump more boost into it though. The engine will love it.

SWMBO agreed that as soon as our pool goes in I can get the motor built up with some forged internals and shoot for low 400s.
