A scan of the ECU in my FG reveals that min throttle position is 14%.

Does anyone know the correct proceedure to reset this to zero.

I know that removing the battery for sometime and turning on the headlights does do it on older vehicles however is there a specific proceedure for FGs.

Does the same on fg, disconnecting te battery for 10min or so resets KAM (keep alive memory) always clean the throttle body when you do this to give it a fresh base to learn from

Also make sure all manifold bolts are tight and theres no vacuum/ exhaust leaks

I did disconnect the battery for a couple of hours and I know that it did delete the memory as the Long Term fuel trim went from +8 to 0. However the TPS % is still 14. Either the HP Tuner does not read the scale correctly or its normal to be like that or something wrong.

I am going to have a look at my mates FG to see what his reads to get some idea.

I tried reading the TPS with SCT3 but could not manage to do it. If anyone can walk me thru where to find the TPS data figure on SCT it would be appreciated. I can download PIDs but just not sure which one to use. In one download it has about 280 PIDS but most dont work. Still getting my head around it. At least then if SCT and HP read the same then I am getting somewhere

SCT uses relative and actual throttle position. These values relate to the tuning software (AD counts), and it's a useful way of diagnosing throttle problems. HP is the same but logs in %, so comparing SCT to HP isn't that straight fwd. I agree with F1, and is why the max throttle angle is 80 degrees in the tune, I think ratter pointed this out somewhere.
