Also since we have had it back there is a bit of a whining noise in 4th gear, which doesn't sound at all good to me. We had Transmax Z fluid in it before it went in to have the clutch replaced but I highly doubt it would have been replaced with that...most likely a more standard type of fluid...What can I check out nextOnto the next issue, The car has all of a sudden started over boosting, makes it all the way up to 8psi in any gear when accelerating hard then cuts out and appears to go into limp mode for a while after that. have checked all the hoses cleaned the boost solenoid and have not fixed anything. We have thought that maybe the cat is stuffed but I read somewhere that if that was the case then there would be a warning light come up on the dash and there are none of those. Not sure if this may be part of the issue but the car also hunts for revs and idle going from 500ish to 800 and will sometime stall when stopping at traffic lights etc.Would really love some help on this is anyone has any ideas we are moving to VIC at the end of October and would really like to get these couple of issues sorted before then. Thanks guysSam

But good luck sorting it mate! Edited 09/09/12 11:06 PM by bionic_oosty

What's the next thing to test...waste gate actuator perhaps? Could the boost control solenoid be buggered?. The car is essentially stock tune wise all is has is as inductions intake k n n filter and the coilsSent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

But maybe I could get a new factory set and give it a shotSent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

Possibly coils, but when my coils went (145,00kms old) the car only spluttered under boost and didn't go into limp mode or anything.. Just spluttered until you stopped accelerating.During my clutch problem before the tuner diagnosed it, I got a computer @ local exhaust shop plugged in (for free) as it was showing the MIL light (Emissions/Cat Converter). The computer code shown up as a 'Wastegate Error'.But it turned out to be the new clutch just throwing out the tune and the computer getting angry. If you have a day or 2 free without the car, best bet would be taking it to a Tuner (not general mechanic) and letting them sort it. They will have no problem solving it within a few few hours and in my experience charge very reasonably too.My money's on the clutch somehow throwing out boost points

I would fix it after the move to vic simply because of the larger choice of tuners that can diagnose it for you.

Driving it down like it is isn't going to cause further issues as long as I stay off heavy throttle?Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
