MrG6E Member 2 Member For: 12y 9m 12d Posted 07/01/13 01:02 AM Share Posted 07/01/13 01:02 AM issue is your injectors, had the same issue + a moron of a tuner with 4 different attempts at the car still couldn't figure out that the injectors he installed were not able to handle the fuel requirement..went from a quoted 302kw on his dyno straight next day to another dyno at 284kw...had big idle issues with the car stalling and revs just bouncing all over the place and fuel consumption was horrible with me getting 300km off a tank trying to drive economically, and car was pinging funny enough..he said idle cannot be tuned..out of all the cars I have had and the mechanics/tuners..he was the worst..re-tuned with different injectors and new fuel pump only no other mods and max power of 329 on 15psi and set now at 13psi 320kw @ 830nm for safe everyday drivemods, plazmaman intercooler + piping, id 1000 injectors, fuel pump, 4inch dump + cat only. old_mate Member 767 Member For: 18y 9m 15d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 06/06/13 07:16 AM Author Share Posted 06/06/13 07:16 AM Bolted a Mr Turbo 3540 with a Xforce 3.5in turbo back exhaust, atomic valve springs and bosch 1000cc injectors.Was in a massive rush to get the car back yesterday so tuner only did four runs, check boost control and ensure it was ok to drive.Made 366rwkw on 19psi, haven't really fiddled with fuel or timing yet - im hopeful to see 400 on about 20/21psi when its all said and done - retaining factory crossover.Already miss that little turbo slap in the face but I am very happy with how this sucker pulls in the top end, kinda wish I had have gone the 0.5 front cover instead of the 0.7. A little more timing down low may help bring it on a bit harder, it's making 10psi at 2800rpm and the full 19 psi at 3100rpm so it's not that bad. I bought the car with them in it.I only replaced them because the car was losing power and because I didnt know much about them I replaced them with bosch 525cc items. Turns out, it was never the injectors but my valve springs were going soft.They are perfect IMO for the little turbo."A little deceptive hey buddy?
