I'm sure its there somewhere. When I'm stopped say at the lights and I go to take off I can hear that the engine rpm has started to rise but the car doesn't move then it takes up and accelerates quickly. It feels like the manual equivalent to dropping the clutch. It is not harsh, no clunks or anything like that just a delay between the engine accelerating and the transmission transferring the power to the wheels. Is this normal behaviour for the ZF? A few times when starting the car up, the gearbox/rpm pulsates. Appears to only happen in 1st gear and has happened in both auto and semi auto. Once the gear has changed or the speed has increased, say over 10km/h it stops.

I did think it might just be the stall converter but wanted to check. Always been a manual man. This is my first auto.
