Hey all,

Hope I can get some guidance on this problem I'm having with my Turbo, when I hit boost it comes on nicely but if I keep it going the turbo starts spluttering/cutting out? Not sure what it is, maybe the oil filter is clogged up with grit or does it sounds like a more serious problem? (2003 BA)

I should note that from cold start I have no troubles at all only happens after about 7-10 minutes of driving.

The car is in for a new gearbox as mine blew on Saturday so I figure I may aswel get it sorted now while it's at the mechanics, also it's running a 2006 BF motor with 42,000kms if it's relevent?

Thanks!

Jack

Okay, I'll try to the plugs and coils in the next few weeks, what brands should I look out for in regards to performance and quality? Also, any thoughts on Iridium plugs? I've been informed Fords need a particular type of plug.

I don't hit straight from cold start, I should have phrased that better. Once it's warmed up a little the first and maybe second time I push it, the turbo is completely fine. What about the turbo oil filter? could it be that?

Thanks again everyone for your advice
