Good entry level kit for the money but I would spend just a few more $ and get the Plazmaman Pro Street bar & plate core if you couldn't afford a Process West stage 2 or a Plazmaman 1000hp kit..my 2cAh yup cheers man. What can be put in between it to prevent the rubbing through. Seems odd that they would sell the piping if it rubs on bonnet doesn't it? Maybe they've fixed it now? Alternatively save for a little longer and get the PW stage 2 and relocate your throttle body, nice and neat and supports big power for future...doing things twice costs moreEdit: spelling Edited 06/09/12 02:01 AM by Boogtonic Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/81765-rapidsystems-v25/page/3/#findComment-1290716 Share on other sites
GTEXXED Banned Banned 910 Member For: 12y 9m 5d Gender: Male Posted 06/09/12 02:07 AM Share Posted 06/09/12 02:07 AM I have the rapid kit and if installed with a little thinking no rubbing will be had.I have had mine on for 10,000kms now and not one rub mark.Positioning, clamp like hot side pipe has on cross member and a trim of the old lug that's used for cross over to mount clamp to to hold her down. What causes the hits/rubbing is when throttle is backed off and the pipe jumps a little. How much difference it would make between services I don't know. Name rings a bell..) and I'll get an intake to go where battery is. Should be pretty simple to make one yourself I'd think yeah? And would probably need an intake to match it - where the hole is in the side of the box that is.
