I use the under battery intake with out the stone guard under the front bumper as my car never came with one.

No issues with driving in the rain or through puddles but I did drive through a very deep puddle one day which was a bad idea but I risked it.

Idled through fine but the air filter was full of water so as soon as I accelerated, water went in the intake and the car ran like crap.

Had to tow the car home (which was only around the corner) and dry out the cooler and piping.

Learnt my lesson the 1st time.

Haha yeah that's something I probably want to avoid.

It's coming to up to summer so not really much of a risk but I'd rather a full year round system where I wouldn't be worrying about anything know what I mean.

If for $350 Kosij had a battery relocation and custom intake made, that seems like a pretty sweet deal to me.

Also Kosij, any pics? :)

Yeah that's fair enough. Just steer clear of massive puddles. Sounds like Kosij got some good details though.

Also if I had the chance to get the small Rapid cooler I'd go that one over the big one for 300kw as cutting the front was a pain in the ass.

They have the new street series which doesn't require cutting now.

It's 470 x 400 x 90 - which is slightly smaller than the big one you probably have (500 x 400 x 90)

Or is that the one you're talking about?

I will dig up the links 2nyt,

The battery relocation is

Battery Box $20

Cable $80

Lugs $20

Then the alloy Intake I got of a guy who fabricates them for $150 and then $50 for a filter I will get the pics and links up tonight it beats paying $700 but I did at one stage use the ubp intake I had no issues. Only that I upgraded to cooler and hotside I ditched the ubp.

If you get this kit be very careful with the hangers when installing as they are not strong, also make sure you put something between the cold side pipe and your inlet manifold or it will rub trough.

Keep in mind the cold side pipe will rub on your bonnet too. Good entry level kit for the money but I would spend just a few more $ and get the Plazmaman Pro Street bar & plate core if you couldn't afford a Process West stage 2 or a Plazmaman 1000hp kit..my 2c
