Is this true?I'm not mechanical minded so would appreciate the expertise of you guysDave

All 6 cylinders from BA onwards have 23 spline input shaft, 5 or 6 speed.

T56 itself and the shifter/knob. And oil as well. From memory about 4 litres, fill it up through the shifter hole!Really simple conversion. Can't recommend ace clutches enough, mal wood and various other shops supply them! Topic97 Member 30 Member For: 12y 3m 7d Posted 25/09/12 12:02 AM Share Posted 25/09/12 12:02 AM Ahh ok, sounds somewhat straight forward which is good.I was just doing a bit of browsing on this forum as I have found a ba xr6t that's pretty much exactly what I was chasing but it has the t5z and reading about them on this forum has put the fear of god in me about them! The engine isn't modded or anything so it should be ok to drive around until I figure out what power I want out of it hopefully!I know the t56 is an awesome strong gearbox, I had one in my old vy ss and that was pushing 350rwkw and it never skipped a beat.
