How could u of saved money?I have recently purchased a fg xr6 turbo zf auto with 60,000kms on the clock owned by a 64 year old male.it is spotless and is a pleasure to drive. Now I am thoroughly researching before I proceed. and I hope you all can help. P.S don't tell the missus and I wont tell yours. Deal? My general reads are tune related with the normal injector upgrade, dump pipe and cooler. I am not so much interested with what power you had but what you would of changed/ not done to get there.I wish to learn from others mistakes/ rushed decisions. My goal is to achieve 300rwkw, possibly 320rwkw while remaining as reliable as possible. would prefer to be able to do it all in one tune. as I believe that would save money. If you disagree with someone else information, product if you could explain why you would of/ had chose differently.

I like to think that if I had stopped at 300 Ild have saved a lot of money's.The injectors/pump/cooler/dump&cat route is proven but it also depends on the tuner. MA91CK billet turbos and weathered engines dont mix Donating Members 1,346 Member For: 12y 9m 16d Gender: Male Location: Wollongong Posted 04/09/12 10:08 AM Share Posted 04/09/12 10:08 AM Buy a diesel, you wont wana mod it and youll save all your money! Seriously but, Be realistic. Are you going to actuallu mod further than maxing out the little turbo? Do you really need that dump pipe? Its been said on here before, injectors, good intercooler, cat and tune should see your turbo maxed out. To do it completely reliably, add to that:* valve springs* Clutch* Tailshaft* oil pump gears* Brakes to slow you down.* suspension for handling. It does change your perception a littleI went with Nizpro cooler.. 1000 injectors and a 4inch dump/5 inch cat and the Coyote air box.Overkill for 300? Most definitely, but basically Ive future proofed it for just a little more money (alot? ) than say a stage 1 stepped cooler, welded in cat and some F6 injectors, that if tuned correctly would give you the same power.Happy at the moment,300 is alot of fun... but....So yes, happy with my choices and wouldnt change a thing.

Sounds good enough but stock system probably would have flowed the power with dump/cat changed.
