So with the poorboys it'll just mask the scratches for a few weeks then they'll come back up?

So by the sounds of it I'm best off getting a panel beater or the like to cut out the swirls and then give it a few coats of wax using the naviwax?

Hey Rancid how was that shine achieved in those 3 comparison photos? My swirls are no where near that bad, I just want the metal flake to show back through again

With the Poorboys the swirls didnt go anywhere, they are just under a layer of glaze which gives a nice wet look to hide them. Blackhole does a pretty good job but its something that you need to redo quite often.

Naviwax is good stuff. It lasts around 3 months which is excellent for a paste type wax. It produces tight beads when wet and has probably the best protection against water spots I have seen. Easy to use and looks good all for $60.

The 50/50 shots were multiple stages. I used 3 different polishes from Menzerna and also Carpro with 4 different pad combinations on Rotary and Random Orbital.

I will give you a call about the Ute Karl,

cheers.

Sweet, thanks mate, saved me wasting my time and money.

Might try find a good detailer/panel beater in canberra that can do a good job and then I'll maintain it with the naviwax!

Mine really needs a cut aswell. Looks mint in the shade, the gloss is unbelievable but in the sun omg.

If anyone in Brisbane is down to help me PM me. Will sling cash.

Rancid is a mobile detailer so he'll come to you. Search for Auto Glamour on facebook if you want to see examples of his work...some brilliant examples of what can be done with the right products/tools in the right hands

...shame that he's such a wanker :tease:

yea just found 2 detailers that are 5 mins away from me (the convenience of having an industrial area so close). Once my tax return comes in will book it in then give it a wax myself and should come up great! Will put before and afters but it won't be for 3 weeks or so
