Just wondering if theres any other products I should consider while I'm going? Like any really good bug and tar removers etc that you can't really get in normal stores?Actually whats a good chamois too because I know that can often be a cause of all the swirls and the one I have is pretty old now Edited 13/11/12 01:14 AM by Bellato
Bellato Donating Members 2,713 Member For: 14y 3m 16d Posted 13/11/12 10:20 AM Author Share Posted 13/11/12 10:20 AM Thought I would go out and confuse myself even more today and after watching a heap of youtube videos I considered the idea of doing a cut and polish myself. So a few questions for the professionals out there1. Am I stupid to think that I could safely and accurately cut and polish a black car without any experience2. I can get a cut and polish for $150 from a friend and from what I've looked at you can buy a machine polisher kit anywhere from 150 to $350 (for entry level stuff). The cheaper ones being kits from china and the $350 odd being from wax it. Plus the cheaper kits need polish bought so won't be that much cheaper anyway3. How much use would I actually get out of a machine polisher? Would it actually be worth it when I could get a cut and polish that cheap every so often? Also Im going to buy a good wax too apply after the polish so I guess the machine could be used to apply it and make my life easier lolThanks
