Anyone wanna tell me what I'm doing wrong applying naviwax.

I'm applying it gently in circles with a spray of water on the car. Allowing to dry to a haze then polishing clean with a soft microfibee cloth. Comes up great, but then after a day or so it goes all hazey again so I wipe it down again n doesn't come up with that nice gloss shine.

Help?

The 303 I have (approx. 1.5 years old) leaves a very glossy finish to the point I'd say its oily not to mention slippery. While Rancid says its got anti static properties I noticed because of its high gloss oily finish dust was actually worse. Personally I can't stand the product, "but" I like original or matte finish. I use Einszett cockpit premium pro on my cars dashes and door plastics. The other Einszett product I like is their gummi pfledge for all door rubbers and seals.

This is my experience anyway.

MadF6, your using to much. Its a matte finish, if you are finding its glossy your applying it to liberably. Ahalf spritz into a MF is enough for half the dash.

Bellato, Remove naviwax immediately, dont wait for it to haze. Its wipe on wipe off. Do quarter of the bonnet, remove and move onto the next section. Sometimes if your applying to much it can haze up over night with the temperature change. I have personally never had a problem with it, but saw it first hand from a customer who bought some from me. I did a coat for him and left the tin and came back in the morning after he had done 2 more coats. When I opened the tin there were deep gouges into the wax. Literally less than a 1/4 turn in the wax is plenty to get you started, you seriously need the smallest amount.

No, definitely not the case for me, with the bottle I have anyway. I was very conscious with this product as it contains silicone and I didn't want it splattered over any of my leather or interior after market tint. Over time I think it will only get glossier too regardless of how little you use and how you apply it. I'll stick with Cockpit premium as I have non of these "potential" issues.

A lot of guys on other forums are also saying its more gloss than matte: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=504314

If you're getting results though then kudos to you :)

303 Defintely does not contain silicone. Unfortunately most guys dont know how to use products and complain about the product rather than their ability to use it. Cockpit Premium is also a very good product to have on hand.

I double checked a bottle I have and you're correct Rancid. It says "no" silicone oils...

That being said you probably should have mentioned how to use the product in your recommendation because if someone sprays this crap directly on their dash in my opinion the dash will look like cheap greasy garbage. I also can't see how it won't get glossier as time goes on even if you have to use it in paranoid mode and spray in a MF before application. Finally the bottle instructions say "spray on, wipe off" under vehicle interior, so don't whinge about enthusiasts having a go if the manufacturer can't get their instructions right.
