He's replied and said that they are the G part - the difference being G is for gold, S is for silver.

Either way, both are slotted and dimpled.

Going to get a set now

The gold ones are zinc plated and gold passivated, which is meant to prevent corrosion and just give them a gold look.

Not sure how much different they are to the silver ones, and whether it's just the gold appearance which is the difference.

Have send RDA an enquiry so will see what they come back with.

And awesome price man. Wish I had have gone that combo. Cost me 400 for my pads + rotors, including postage from ebay for rotors and GSL for pads

Reply from RDA:

"G'day Ciaran , Thanks for inquiry . As a stock line RDA Brakes doesn't have silver plated discs , we have just normal standard silver raw machined cast iron finish , not to say may-be some of our distributors don't plate . Gold plating resists surface rust where raw in a non wearing area will start to attract surface rust . Surface rust isn't issue in anyway other than some find it an eye sore . Our silver straight slotted range only come straight slotted But gold plated come curved and dimpled . Again main difference is cosmetic , one looks better than other . Both will perform same in 90% of cases ."
