Brakes don't feel as solid as they did a while back, so thinking of upgrading.

Not sure if I should just get new pads and hope that will fix the problem, or if I should do a full upgrade - rotors, pads, calipers etc.

Will have a check of the pads at lunch to see if they're worn, but as I brake now it feels like it's taking a lot more effort to slow down, feels very soft.

I checked the fluid and it all looks good, but I have some Penrite Sin DOT 4 left over from my last car, so might just flush it when I do the pads or the whole lot. Also got a free bottle from a Promo from RSL Brakes so that will come in handy now.

If doing the whole lot, what's the next step up/good option from the standard BF2 brake setup?

Are the PBR performance set an upgrade over the BF stock?

change your diff bush.

Also, if the fluid has been sitting around since before your last car was pinched introduce it to the bin.

In Short : Change the fluid mate.

Ah yep, I have half a container of fluid from the last car, but also a new bottle, unopened that I got last week from that thing Tom sent through via email a while ago. Just arrived lol.

So think fluid might just be all that's needed?

You got an idea on the cost of the full package Jet?

A bloke who used to come on our regular cruises had the aftermarket kit installed on his ba xr6t it was around the $2300 mark and he used to be the bloke pulling up at each stop with smoke pissing off each corner

He said after the up grade he never felt brake fade again so yeh good starting package

If you haven't cooked them and the pads have more than 60% meat left on them def start with a fluid flush
