I never took much notice of it but was warned to change them as bigger problems can arise. So I did. Very glad I did! Apparently from a a combo of low tire pressure, federal tires and a pot hole. Inside of the rim I never saw. Also found the drivers side lower control arm ball join has had it so I'll pull out both sides, check the bushes (nolathane) and re- grease it all so she will be like new again. Was in a desperate need to be done and it was such a simple job!
