Both cover fittings go to a single baffled can with a vta

*the last time I checked the plenum there was no where near as much oil :/

I took the ute to Forced Performance & Tuning today for Jamie to do a big e85 tune for me.

The end result was 583rwkw at a bit more than 24si. mid range power sky rocketed with 24psi being made at 3000rpm.
What stopped us from reaching 600kw was the valve springs not being up to the task. Having 40,000km on the engine now I'll swap
them out for a new set next week and squeeze a bit more out of the P6466.

Replicate the stock plumbing but add a catch can to each circuit. What you've got now is basically a punk tank.

No video's, will get a good one when we have a good clean run :)

Righteo, so plumb it back into the plenum and airbox with catch can acting as inline filter?

rear rocker fitting to plenum, with a check between can and manifold so it doesnt get boosted. Front breather to intake with a can no check required wont see pressure.

and thinking about it given neither circuit goes to the intake or manifold currently... That oil in your intale came from...your turbo?? Not sure what else it could be. How does the cooler etc look?

Will look at re-doing catch can this week.

The cooler I got off a bloke in vic last year, could have had a bit of oil in it from previous owner although the colour of it to me looks as if it's from my engine and running e85?

Other than that it's very healthy sounding and putting up good numbers.

Why would you redo the catch can, if it's vented the oil has to be coming from somewhere else.

The turbo isn't water cooled is it? Could be the extra heat on it be causing the seals to go? Where else would that amount of oil come from?

I still reckon that plenum is the best thing going around from a servicing point of view, so much easier to clean than the others.
