finally recieved my cobalt oil pressure gauge but have a query, how do people on here hook them up to the motor? mine has a oil pressure sender like there is in the side of the block but is this alright?? I have the feeling if I use this sender and disconnect the standard one it might bring the oil light on the dash?

any help is greatly appreciated

use a brass T-piece to fit the factory sender and the Auto meter sender in it. VDO 230.032, I THINK it is 1/4"NPT for the original pressure sender and the Autometer was 1/8".
