its all relative mate , were talking about cars with 4/500rwkw not 14/1500rwhp

were also talking about guys doing 10's not 6's were also talking about the first step up from street tyres to something that can sub 1.5 many times now

last time I could find a set of rims/tyres easily available for less than $400 and go 1.5's was never ...........

I still and will always find this combo very efficient ( M/T's 275 on a BA xr6 17inch high 8 inch wide rim ) and not much comes next to it for its respective field

Jet all my research came from The Turbo Forum and the Mustang and Camaro etc forums..

They arent anywhere near that power or are chasing them times..

They may be slightly lighter but the guards are similar sizes and they are pretty much trying to stuff the biggest tyre under a guard and put it down as we are..

Also most of them are in the same power band (400-700hp) obviously there are some higher ones from both camps but in saying that

I learned a LOT from these sites when I read into it.. 60 foot times ETs and HP figures are all very relative to our Fords..

The only real diff is that they didnt give a hoot about big brakes and all used a 15" in rim under the ass end.. lol

fair enough but I still stand by what ive done and seen first hand and then from what others have done

not denying a wider rim wont have its benefits iam also not saying its worse off iam saying though its heaps easier to get a hold of my combo then 10 inch wide rims @17inches high that's all

many people have taken the Edith degree in many things but that's cool if you want to spend your coin in certain areas vs others
