wrong tyres for low psi and narrow rims...

et's are that way ---------> or not...

NT05r's although a drag radial are a proper working street tyre, so you use normal psi on normal width rims, and you can still go around corners and not crash too

I had them on a set of lenso D1R's that were 17x9 and they were as narrow as you would go

it'd be pushing it fitting them to a 17x8

Theres always different opinions about mounting tyres to rims recomended and " yep that workx " some people like to stay within the recomended range and that's fine but some like to stretch the recomended to suit

Never heard a complaint about 275's on a 17 inch rim so far and many have achieved the desired results for their aplication

Its good to see what others have found out through their own r&d

I use them on standard BF wheels and dont have a problem, but agree with batman they work better with more tyre pressure.

I could probably get some D1R's but I dont think they fit over my rear brakes.

Veva had them on Migs F6 and went 10.5 but after the run he could hear a noise that turned out to be the wheels scraping

Christians runs a 17x9 +38 rear with his ets, which are also much lighter than the standard ford rim. that's pretty much the perfect set up, I've been looking for a while on Jap and JDM forums for a set to come up. Anything lighter and wider will be better than a ford rim IMO

Koya are great... can choose your own offsets...

However, I would check the weights... You could buy a GTR skyline forged set of wheels for drags... would be light and are a 17x9... perfect

Jetsnot is completely wrong...
