umm nah fark that.. too many rattles.

12" sub in a matched box seems to do the job nicely you can make it a quick connect to so the whole thing can come out whenever you want.

  • line level converter from jaycar with the attenuator thingy ma jiggy

Yeah can't cut metal legally to fit bigger speakers or woofers, and the thump would rattle the parcel shelf to bits, quick and easy to disconnect boxed 10-12 is the way to go IMO, unless you want a big boot setup that is.

The car was made for it Gilly, so had all the bracing and sh*t to suit, our parcel shelves are weak as piss and rattle like no tomorrow without copious amounts of sound deadening.
