I have just ordered my third new FPV F6 ute in vanish blue. I have been through the exercise of seeing if I can get two or the new R-spec 9" wheels for the rear but I think it will be too hard and too expensive.

As an alternative I think I might buy a set of "Icon Zest" in crystal black - 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear with 275/35x19 on the rear. Has anyone fitted these wheels yet and if so can you post some pics. I was wondering if the 19x8.5 will clear the Brembos (only 4 piston) I am only going drop the rear about 15mm and the front 10 mm (via shocks) as I need a bit better ground clearance with this one. The rear wheels are 35 offset - will they clear the guards

What do you think?

They look awesome and clear Brembos...

Call Jarrard at the wheel deal and tell him Worm sent you... He'll look after you...

Thanks for that feedback. I have now bought the wheels (8.5 for front & 9.5 for rear) and they look freakin awesome (in the box). I have also bought 275/35x19 tyres for the rear and will probably use the existing 245/35x19 for the front. My only thought now is will the tyres look a bit too "streched" width wise. I am not sure what the other tyre size options would be ( maybe 255/35x19 front & 285/3019 rear)

What do you think.

They won't look stretched at all... 275 is perfect for a 9.5 in rim... However, you should have bought 275/30/19 not 35... 35 will probably scrub as the diameter is too big. Even with rolled guards...

Thanks for your feedback - my thinking with going 275/35x19 instead of 30 was that this is the size they are using in the new R-Spec GT.

The actual correct rolling diameter (to match the 245's on the front) is 285/30x19 but I thought it may be too wide and I thought having 35 series on the rear may be a bit more compliant over the bumpy corners given it's a ute. I was thinking there would be heaps of room under the rear guards on a ute. I will swing by the dealer and have a look.

Thanks for your comments.
