Just had a quick flick through the latest Zoom magazine at the newsagent, there is a 440kw EF or EL XR6 with a supercharger. Can't recall too many details about it except that he was still running the stock 16" alloys which means his brakes are stock or near to it which to my mind is a bit of a worry (says stock on rear and DBA on front, no mention of slotted or crossdrilled). I think the guy that owns it plans to do some circuit work which will probably stuff the brakes in no time at all. :ta:

I was talking with tony from capa the other day and they have just about finished a blower kit for the ba xr6 and I believe from memory it shows around 360kw's at the flywheel at the moment, should be interesting.

probabily a Vortec V-1....I got one sitting under my bed at home...they flow over 700hp.

Depends what trim Vortech as to what sort of power they make. My J trim Vortech can make 28 psi if you use the correct pulleys, and from memory can flow in excess of 1200 hp.

Vortech blowers are good, real good. Most of the HP hero cars used to use them before twin turbo's come in. Paxton make a good blower as well. Havent had any experience with them though. As for Powerdyne....

Guys I think (not sure haven't seen mag) the 6 is in perth cause a mate was going on about it and that the blower that's on it is a sprintex supercharger (twin screw blower) where as the capa one is a centrifugal one. which a few people might start going to but there not cheap.
