Just curious what is the best way to receive the info from your obd2?

I see they have blutooth, WIFI and a direct iphone cable link..

dose anyone know if the direct link works? and if so is it a little quicker than the WIFI or BT?

some people are saying the wifi is slow..

Yeah im thinking more like.... there is no real options yet for gauges for the mk II.

so I just want to keep an eye on things when I start moding or if we start tweaking things.

Using the iphone I was told that some WIFI and some Blutooth devices are slow..

He sounds like he works for DANOZ DIRECT or something. WOW I wish my problems were as simple as a loose gas cap.

I use bluetooth elm327 scanner $25 off ebay and it connects to my Android through a program called "torque" or through PC with the disc that comes with the scanner. Cant find anything programs to connect to my new Iphone though.

Cheers, John.

I'm keen to know too, I don't think you could beat the direct connection for speed but I'd rather not cable so either Bluetooth or wifi, surely the bandwidth would be enough anyway but I guess it also depends on the obd2 tools ability to run the Bluetooth or wifi and feed the data. I like the idea with wifi maybe allowing multiple devices, but its poo you lose Internet when on the wifi, and Bluetooth uses a lot less battery than wifi so I might go the wifi.

But as for what's good and what's not I don't know... I'd also like it to not look poo sticking out of the obd2 port.
