My car picked up a couple of rwkw without the cone filter. I have the Plazmaman version though. Some of the ebay cheapies have a tight 90 bend onto the turbo. Mine actually goes in at 45 degrees.

Lesson I've learnt - I bought a spare FG dump, welded a sh*t xforce cat in. X-force cat blew then had to buy a better more expensive cat and re-tune. I've spent nearly 1k on cat work and still have a std dump pipe lol. BUY the venom bolt up job!

Venom bolt on dump 700

PW stepped cooler 1100

F6 injectors 300

xcal & tune 1600

= $3700/300rwkw+

Do the pipes and airbox if you like down the track...and you wont need to pay for a retune

Yea I think this sounds the best! Already have an airbox cut open with K n N so would just need the intake pipe. And yea Bomber If I get one it'll be Plaz or Rapid if I get one.

Yea that's ESP at Queanbeyan. If I source my own parts then I might go to gentech but looked at their prices and its cheaper to go to CV or Tunehouse in Sydney then go to Gentech. But yea might go see them and see what they suggest and see how much they charge for injectors, cat install and tune.

Whats peoples opinions on the dump. Personally I'd rather cooler and piping than dump but they must include it in this package of theirs for a reason?

cooler/cat/injectors first.

dump not necessary at this stage.

I say shop around and choose your tuner very carefully, I can tell you from experience that this one of the most important decisions.

When you shop around its not about price, its more about service and how you feel about the tuners and things like that. Make sure its not about price.

I had an 'experience' with a 'tuner' and it never felt right and I was never completley happy with the car. I got to a point where I just wanted to get rid of it. Then I gave it all one last shot and shopped around, I never talked about price but instead how the service was and how I felt dealing with them.

You can have all the 'goodies' in your engine you want but if it isnt tuned properly it will be an unfulfilling experience

Mate you've got some good tuner options in C&V, Tunehouse and CMS.

If you're sticking with the small turbo, don't do a dump. All it will do is compromise the tune unless you mod the turbo and that will cost you around $800. The venom bolt up job with the stock zorst will get the job done. George is also releasing a bolt up mid section shortly to remove middle muffler if you want a bit of noise. All bolt up stuff = no labour if you do it yourself ;)
